NENE HATUN PRIMARY SCHOOL 2018

In our first meeting, we discussed about presentations of the project, project logo selection, cultural integration, mini dictionary and web site of the project.
​
We focused on traditional and cultural games
· Comparision of toys used today and in the past
· Creating handmade toys and combining them with toys of different cultures
​
Our first project meeting was held in Turkey. This meeting provided more effective communication and cooperation among partners.A number of arrangements fort the implementation of the project were held at this meeting so that the project made great contributions to the participants from all over the country in terms of achieving and maintaining the aims of the project.

TOYS BECOME REAL

With this mobility in Bulgaria,all students had the opportunity to promote their own cultures as well as to recognize different cultures.

Children and teachers were able to explore similar and different aspects of their own country to other cultures.

Traditional and cultural toys were exhibited in their own country and presentations were made on how toys are made by the students.
-
So that the children had more imagination and more knowledge on toy cultures.

In Romania,the students created toys , then these toys were designed as costumes.The students who wore these costumes played theater and present a puppet show.The theater play and puppets provided a lot of benefits for theachers and students .When the students played the theater and presented a puppet show by wearing their own toys’costumes,both they had an opportunity to introduce their own culture and they recognized different cultures . So the teachers and the students could discover similar and different aspects of their own cultures and different cultures.

With this mobility done in Portugal, everyone had a presentation made in the past by the students ,parents and grandparents who used toys in their own culture.

Each partner school provided daily and historical examples of culture , culture stories ,hereos and legends .

So that children and teachers discovered similar and different aspects of their culture to other cultures.

We had the opportunity to see and experience traditional games of different cultures.We played and told the toys used in traditional games ,the rhymes and songs and dances together.

We improved fun learning.Communication between children and adults were strengthened.Cultural transmission was increased.

There was cultural interaction with different cultures.They were played more toys in the natural environment.They learned more games.

The final meeting of the project
WALDORF APROACH and TOYS

Our school adopted the Waldrof approach and conducts training and activities in this regard. This project provided an opportunity to see how the Waldrof approach implemented in this school. So we had the opportunity to see the short comings of our own school.

We observed toys containing the Waldrof approach. Since we had the last meeting,we made an assessment of the project.
